A Maritime Beginning:

Growing up on the scenic shores of Canada's East Coast, I developed an early appreciation for the natural world. This connection with nature led me to embark on a journey as a wildlife and travel photographer. Armed with my camera, I explored the untamed wilderness, capturing the majesty of wildlife and the allure of far-flung destinations.

The Evolution:

Over time, my photography evolved, reflecting my changing interests and surroundings. While my heart still beats for the untamed and unexplored, I found inspiration in the streets of Washington DC. The city's eclectic mix of cultures, personalities, and architecture drew me into the world of street photography.

More recently, I ventured into the controlled environment of the studio. Studio flash photography allows me to sculpt light and create striking portraits that tell compelling stories.

Through My Lens:

My photography is about sharing my unique perspective with the aim of evoking emotional responses from viewers through the beauty I discover and create in my images. I see the world as a vast canvas of opportunities. I am constantly exploring new places, people, and subjects and seeking new perspectives, angles, and compositions to present my subjects in visually interesting and appealing ways. I enjoy experimenting with lighting, framing, and post-processing to enhance the aesthetics of my photographs.
